About Us
Wudu Guard was started to make Salat (prayer) more convenient for Muslims on the go. The key to valid Salat is first performing Wudu (ablution) however, depending on location, it may not be so accessible. Public restrooms can be used to perform Wudu, but washing the feet may be difficult. Even worse, some may skip Wudu entirely.
There is an alternative to washing the feet and that is Masah which is to wipe over covered feet. Traditionally, Muslims have worn leather socks or Khuffain in order to perform the Masah. The trade-off with Khuffain is that they are bulkier than cotton socks and may require a size up in shoes in order to fit.
This is where Wudu Guard comes in. Using modern materials Wudu Guard is able to provide a sock with the properties of Khuffain yet retain the softness and low profile of an athletic sock. With Wudu Guard it is permissible to perform Masah and you can wear these comfortably with your everyday footwear!
